QA Automation Engineer

ISsoft Ukraine is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Lviv. We are building a new team for current and future projects with a listed stack of technologies. We expect you to be involved in different projects as well.

• Understanding of Quality Assurance Best Practices (including how to determine what should be tested, what can/should be automated);
• Understanding how to translate requirements into test cases and how to determine which tests can/should be automated;
• Ability to convert tests into automation coverage;
• Ability to build/extend Automation Framework, incorporate existing Integration Framework into automation;
• Experience in understanding and executing SQL queries;
• Working knowledge of Jenkins;
• Experience with Integration API testing via Rest and Soap services with JSON and XML;
• Experience with QA tools, such as Quality Center, Qmetry, Jira, Confluence, etc.;
• Experience writing test cases and tracking defects;
• Knowledgeable in Agile/Scrum SDLC methodology;
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities;
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and a strong team player
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Mobile testing frameworks as a plus;
• Fluent English;

• Work independently to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and escalate as needed;
• Work closely with other QA team members to share and learn technical and business knowledge;
• Work closely with Dev and DevSecOps teams on integrated items;
• Advocate quality by adhering to QA best practices;
• Keep current with new technologies and incorporate them into testing process as needed;
• Perform after hours testing when field issues arise;
• Conduct all business in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures;
