Python Developer (Data Sharing sphere)

Our client builds cloud-based tools that allow data owners to grant counter-parties access to compute over their data. The company aims for workflows that sit above technologies; to build software that is modular and composable; to provide automation via codification to simplify cloud infrastructure and DevOps; and in architecting resilient systems that self-heal and auto-recover.

The main goal of the project is to work on cloud-based tools that allow data owners to grant counter-parties access to compute over their data. This specific role will focus on python backend cloud development with high emphasis on Azure Cloud but also including AWS and Google levering Pulumi. This project has high potential to grow in the future, with many opportunities to add data scientists and ML-based team.

• Minimum 3 years of Python Development experience – Back-end;
• Minimum 2 years of building cloud-based solutions Azure preferred (GCP, AWS experience and willingness to learn Azure will also be accepted);
• Ability to work independently in start-up environment;
• Great research and problem solving skills;
• Ability to quickly learn/adopt to new technologies;
• Ability to advise client on technical approaches/propose new ideas;
• Solid understanding of DevOps best practices;
• Experience working with Agile software development methodology is highly preferred;
• Good team player;
• Enthusiastic in helping bring new product to market;
• Fluent English;

• Work as part of the Global team;

• Develop prototypes, test out and prove ideas and incorporate them in to working solution;
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Pulumi and Terraform;
• Develop back-end application in Django Python Framework;
